Today, Gearbox has finally released a trailer giving players information on FL4K, the Beastmaster. In the past two weeks, we have received trailers each focusing on a specific vault hunter. FL4K is the final vault hunter to receive a trailer.

In the trailer, FL4K enters a bandit camp on the hunt along with his three beasts. Those animals include a spiderant, a skag, and what appears to be a creature that is new to the series. The only ability of his that is shown in the trailer is some form of invisibility to reposition himself after a bandit tries to attack him.

We were introduced to FL4K, along with the other vault hunters, during the gameplay reveal event back in May. Since then, we haven’t heard much of anything about the character. In June, Sung Won Cho (also known as ProZD) announced that he would be voicing the robotic adventurer. Outside of that, there has been no gameplay showing off the character in action. At E3, Zane, Amara, and Moze were all playable, but FL4K was noticeably missing.

Gearbox recently released a list of conventions where Borderlands 3 will be playable before launch including PAX West. With the game recently going gold, I hope that FL4K will be available to try out.

This is the first entry in the series where I want to play as all of the vault hunters. However, FL4K is the one that speaks to me the most. I just want to see him in action in real-time to get a better idea of how he will play.

Borderlands 3 will release on September 13 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC exclusively on the Epic Games Store. It will also launch day one on Google Stadia in November. You can pre-order the game on Amazon.
