After the reveal of the much-anticipated Borderlands 3 announcement from developer Gearbox Studios at PAX East, everyone is hopping on the Borderlands bandwagon to either relive the title again or jump into it fresh for the first time. Whatever the reason is, it's apparent that players love the series given the huge influx of gamers on Steam playing the title following the trailer.

Instead of jumping into one of the Borderlands titles, a cosplayer who goes by the name of handsomejordan on Twitter instead hopped into the skin of one of the Calypso Twins. Getting inspiration from the trailer reveal, handsomejordan recreated Troy Calypso who is one of the main antagonists of Borderlands 3 and one of the two leaders of the Children of the Vault - alongside his brother Tyreen Calypso.

How handsomejordan has recreated this cosplay is truly amazing and the degree of detail and accuracy is unbelievably good. If you take a look at the side by side picture of the cosplayer and Troy Calypso, the likeness is uncanny right down to the same hairstyle, facial expression, and attire. This is some top-level cosplaying at its finest.

As stated by handsomejordan in his tweet, the only thing he couldn't recreate himself was the ears and eyes so he opted to use Photoshop for this to give it a more appealing and striking overall appearance, but everything else is a combination of fur, EVA foam, and some makeup.

The gaming community couldn't believe their eyes at how quickly handsomejordan was able to come up with this Troy Calypso cosplay given that the trailer was only revealed a few days ago. As anyone in the cosplay business knows, designing outfits and choosing the right makeup can take weeks, so this is an amazing testament at how talented handsomejordan really is.
