With the coronavirus continuing to have an effect on day-to-day life around the world, most of us have had to transition our normal in-person interactions to go online. Naturally, video conferencing services like Zoom and Skype have been go-tos to keep in touch with friends, family, and colleagues during these difficult times, and thankfully, Borderlands 3 is helping to make keeping in touch a little more fun and wacky.

Developer and publisher Gearbox Software has released an official set of Borderlands 3-themed Zoom backgrounds that you can download and use for free. All you have to do is head to the official Borderlands 3 website, and once there you can download an assortment of different videos that you can use for video conferences and calls as virtual backdrops. Whether you want to impress the Borderlands fan in your life or want to test the patience of your boss, there's surely a lot of use that you can get out of these Zoom virtual backgrounds.

Gearbox clearly had some fun putting these together, as there is a wide range of video backgrounds you can use for your Zoom calls inspired by Borderlands 3, including locations and familiar faces from Pandora and other planets from the game. In terms of other Borderlands-related news, Gearbox recently kicked off a new in-game BL3 event called "Revenge of the Cartels," which has players intervening in an intergalactic gang war while collecting fat stacks of loot and gear in the process. Additionally, two big expansions for Borderlands 3 have released since the game debuted last fall, and PC players can now access the game through Steam with its release last month.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC.
