With March being a big month for Borderlands fans alongside several new pieces of content and a re-release of two of the series’ games, Borderlands is also showing up in the most unexpected of places – out on the dance floor.
During a panel with Gearbox Software at PAX East 2015, the studio revealed that Borderlands‘ Nisha the Lawbringer and (the one and only) Claptrap are dancing their way into the Harmonix-produced rhythm game, Dance Central Spotlight, with both characters now available as unlockable characters – players can unlock either character by entering the cheat codes “XXXXX” or “YYYYY” on the game’s character select screen.
Gearbox explained that the idea first generated last year prior to the release of both Dance Central Spotlight and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! – humorously, Harmonix publicist Nick Chester showed a text message between him and Gearbox Software’s Mikey Neumann on the collaboration between both franchises.
