Borderlands Gets Free Update to Expand Level Cap

With the release of Borderlands‘ Game of the Year Edition slated for October 12 of this year, Gearbox has announced an update for the games’ players that will help them get a better experience in the game. Keep an eye out for this new update, called Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution.

With this update, the games’ level cap will be raised to 69 instead of the current 61, as well see some new balancing to match the new level cap. Not to go without mentioning that this update will be free for all Borderlands players, 360, PS3 and PC alike. So if you’re planning on getting the Game of the Year Edition, you can expect to get this update around the same time as the GotY Edition. If you happen to already have the game, you can get it on September 28.
