Borderlands Sells 2 Million Copies

You know what’s funny is that I have yet to play Borderlands. Sad, isn’t it? One of the the games that I’ve been waiting for this entire year has yet to make its way on my PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or PC. Our Contributing Editor, Chad Awekerman, got the privilege to get some hand-on time, and some, with one of the most anticipated first person shooters of 2009, that lucky bastard. And it seems that a lot of people, and I mean a lot, have also joined in the Borderlands mayhem.

Borderlands, developed by Gearbox Software, has apparently been having a pretty good run. Hell, what the fuck am I talking about? The game has sold more than 2 million units worldwide. That’s pretty impressive, I must say. The first Role Playing Shooter of our time, the game takes ingredients from both first person shooters and RPGs and intertwines them into this beautifully crafted concoction.

Are we going to see a sequel for Borderlans sometime? You bet your sweet ass we will. But before that time comes, I first need to get my hands on this first one. Damn you, Chad. Damn you for playing the game.
