Hm. It seems to me that this zombie thing is becoming a trend in video games. Just about every quarter or so, I've been faced with a game about zombies, or with a game involving zombies in some form of co-op-DLC thing. Bah, whatever - the games are fun as hell and there's nothing more satisfying than shooting a mob of dead shit with a couple of buds. That's why I wasn't surprised to hear that Gearbox and 2K Games were releasing their first DLC for Borderlands this year. The theme? You guessed it! Zombies.

We know that the game is coming on October 20th - that's no secret. But, 2K and Gearbox have announced that players will be able to get their gun-slinging skills on in the new adventures on The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.

With no time wasted, pricing has already been released. For the PS3, the DLC is set at a price of $9.99, with 800 Microsoft Points ($10) for Xbox Live Marketplace (which covers both Games for Windows and the 360).

Below, we have added three images just so you can get a taste of the upcoming DLC. Does it look nice? Indeed.
