The latest episode of Boruto was an emotional ride for everyone familiar with the universe of Naruto. Everyone gave their best to defeat Jigen, the strongest opponent the Seventh Hokage has faced so far. Fortunately, the leader of Kara was defeated, but at a high cost. Apparently, Kurama sacrificed his life to let Naruto use Baryon mode against Jigen.

Saying goodbye to Kurama was heartbreaking for every Naruto fan; however, the fight isn’t over yet. That’s because Boruto and others will now have to face someone even more powerful than Jigen.

Boruto Episode 219 Preview and Synposis

According to the 15-second line preview of Boruto episode 219, the upcoming episode is titled “Return.” The promo shows Boruto struggling to use Transporation Ninjutsu, the only way to get everyone back home.

Warning: Spoilers for episode 219 ahead

Well, as per the episode’s synopsis, Boruto, Naruto, Sasuke, and Kawaki will safely return to the village. Of course, everyone will be relieved that Jigen couldn’t do any harm to the Hidden Leaf Village. However, Amado will inform everyone about another member of Kara, Code. This new enemy was a faithful servant of Jigen, and according to Amado, he’s even more powerful than the leader.

The episode will also show that Kara has control over the immature form of the “Jyuubi” tailed beast. Code, who’s watching over the tailed beast, will see something or someone appearing before him.

Meanwhile, Boruto, who ultimately lost control after being taken over by Momoshiki, is worried about what would happen to him.

Boruto manga is way ahead of the anime in terms of story, so manga readers know a great deal about what will happen in the anime. Nevertheless, it’s safe to say that Jigen’s battle with Naruto in the anime was just a teaser for what’s ahead.
