The Sasuke Retsuden arc is finally close to its end. Sakura's life is at stake due to the attack from the poisonous kunai, and a new threat in the form of a beast is now standing in front of them. Upon receiving a message from Kakashi, Sakura learned that the Prime Minister of Redaku had planned on taking military action. After that, she started looking for Sasuke to inform the same; however, she couldn't find him. She was then approached by Ganno, who noticed a ring on her finger and then asked her about her husband. While praising her husband, Ganno brought up Sasuke's name, revealing he knew Sasuke was her husband. After Ganno left, Sakura managed to solve the puzzle related to the Map of the Heavens.
On the other hand, Sasuke and Jiji were spreading apricots on the rooftop. Before leaving, Sasuke noticed a lake far from the prison, and Jiji revealed that it was created after a meteor fell at that place. Sasuke and Sakura finally met, and she informed her about Kakashi's message and her findings about the Map of the Heavens.
Later at night, Sasuke and Sakura left the prison to reach the lake, which gave the perfect reflection of stars. Sasuke asked if she wanted a real ring, which she denied, and they talked about their relationship and how they felt spending time away from each other. Concentrating back on the mission, Sakura made the necessary hand signs, after which the lake's water started to swirl and glow like the sun. A strong beam of light went to the sky, and Saskura collected the Ultra Particles from within it.
Suddenly, a blast unleashed several dragon beasts. Sasuke ran into Zansul and asked if he was the one to bring dragon beasts to life, but he thanked Sasuke for helping him find the Ultra Particles. He further revealed his plans to bring back more beasts to life. Sasuke warned him about the consequences of his deeds, but Zansul was reluctant to drop his plans. Suddenly, the beasts started attacking, and Sakura helped the prisoners escape their wrath. Later, she ran into Jiji, but he turned out to be a traitor working for Zansul, and he stabbed her with poisonous kunai. He then took the Ultra Particles from the bag and started using them to bring back his dead girlfriend to life. At the end of the episode, a giant beast from beneath the ground emerged.
