Boruto has been going crazy since it adopted the Code Arc, and there are still two more episodes left for fans to enjoy the show's madness until it goes on an indefinite hiatus. The upcoming episode of the series is titled "Hunger," and as the title suggests, Kawaki will show his lust for more power in the upcoming episode. On the other hand, since Momoshiki has taken control over Boruto's body, the episode will also see a powerful battle between him and Code.
What Happened In Boruto Episode 291?
Boruto and Code met for the first time, and the latter shared his intention of feeding the former to the Ten-Tails. Kawaki wanted Boruto to escape, but he decided to fight Code instead. In the meantime, Ino revealed to Naruto that they were not able to locate Kawaki. The battle began, and Code was able to evade Boroto's attacks easily using his Claw Marks.
Code considered Boruto incompetent; meanwhile, he activated his White Karma. He then explained to Boruto how Karma could be used by an Otsutsuki to make them a great fighter. Code started attacking again, and Boruto avoided his attack while awakening Momoshiki's powers, much to Kawaki's concern. Boruto started releasing a blue aura, and to everyone's surprise, he retained control over his body.
Boruto, who was much stronger now, started attacking Code again, and Eida explained that Boruto might be able to control his mind because of the effect of Amodo's drugs. The scene shifted to Naruto and Ino, who had started looking for Boruto, believing he went after Kawaki. Shikamaru and Naruto decided to go after Boruto and told Hinata to stay back for Himawari's sake. Using his Sage Mode, Naruto then located their chakra and went after them.
While Kawaki was perplexed at Boruto's state, Code believed that Momoshiki wasn't fully gone, and Boruto was still an Otsutsuki; hence, perfect for sacrifice. Code wanted to take Kawaki back to Eida, but he retaliated, stating that he was doing everything for Naruto's sake. Meanwhile, Naruto, with the help of Sage Mode, was able to locate Boruto, who was exhausted and in deep pain. Suddenly, time stopped, and Momoshiki asked Boruto to let her take control. Boruto agreed, and Momoshiki started attacking by creating a giant Rasengan.
