Brand New Dark Souls III Gameplay Looks Beautiful and Brutal; Shows Dual Wielding and More

Today From Software hosted a livestream to advertise Dark Souls III‘s Japanese launch on March 24th (western gamers will have to wait for April 12th).

After showing former Takarazuka Revue member Haruna Hitomi trying very hard for over an hour to get past exactly the same boss of the original Dark Souls as last week, they showcased a bit of sweet gameplay of the upcoming RPG. While it wasn’t as much footage as last week, we still get to see some sword and shield action, greatsword, dual wielding, and mace.

You can check it out below. Incidentally, Hitomi-san did not manage to kill that Bell Gargoyle by the end of the livestream, so she’ll probably be back at it next week. To be fair, she’s at least very persistent. Gotta respect that.
