Following the reveal from a few days ago, Amazon Japan added a few new screenshots to its listing of Brave Neptunia: Behold World and Space!! Ultimate RPG Declaration!! that is being developed for Compile Heart by Quebec-based Artisan Studios.

besides an event scene and some exploration of what appears to be a town, we get to see some definitely classic-looking 2D RPG gameplay including Neptune herself, Blanc, Noire, and Vert.

I have to say, I really love the visual style, and the folks at Artisan are really doing a good job in mixing the original art with something that appears close to the painterly look of 2D point-and-click adventures of old.

You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also check out the first screenshot and the key art.

The game will release in Japan on September 27th for PS4. At the moment there is no announcement of a western release. Hopefully, it’ll be revealed soon.
