Square Enix producer Tomoya Asano dropped a huge bomb on twitter, claiming multiple unannounced games are releasing in 2022.
On January 6, 2022, the Japanese Twitter account for the Bravely Default series shared a new message from producer Tomoya Asano. In it, he explained several games besides Triangle Strategy will be announced and released in 2022.

Tomoya Asano: "Happy new year! We're back to work starting today. In addition to Triangle Strategy, we plan to announce and release several games in 2022. Stay tuned! We also received many messages for the New Year holidays. Thanks everyone! We'll keep doing our best".
Tomoya Asano is the producer of the Octopath Traveler series and the Bravely Default series. However each series is handled by different teams. Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy are most notably developed by Acquire. Tomoya Asano explained his various teams and how the pandemic affected them in a 2020 interview we translated.
Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent trademarked in English in Japan
It's also interesting to note that a few weeks ago, Square Enix trademarked Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent in Japan. For now only the Japanese name "Tairiku no Hasha" written in Kanji was trademarked and the game is currently a Japan-exclusive on mobile.
This confirms that Champions of the Continent will be the officially localized name. And it's very likely that an English release date announcement is coming soon.
Square Enix already mentioned plans to release Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent in English in September 2019.

Is Octopath Traveler 2 confirmed?
A console sequel to Octopath Traveler is also in development, and Tomoya Asano mentioned in October 2020 that it would take a little more time before a reveal. So the game could be announced and released in 2022.
Tactical RPG Triangle Strategy will launch on March 4, 2022, on Nintendo Switch only. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood composer Akira Senju is most notably handling the OST.
