Bravely Default was officially announced, alongside a new trailer, for North America during the Nintendo Direct today. The demo will be released on January 2nd.
Sleeps points were also detailed, which are used to help you during combat, refilling health and other gauges. A total of three Sleep Points can be stored at once. and although SP is generated during hours in which the game is running but in sleep mode, players can purchase these separately from the Nintendo eShop. These benefits are not neccessary for the game’s completion so no pay-to-win format here.
Not only did we see new gameplay footage but a surprising reveal was also shown–the eShop demo for Bravely Default will actually be a unique side story that is not included in the main game. Pretty good incentive to download to the demo then, yeah? Meanwhile you can check out the trailer posted below.
