Today, developer Angry Mob Games announced that its competitive platform fighter Brawlout is coming to Nintendo's new hybrid console, the Switch.

Additionally, Angry Mob Games also announced that today the game will be featuring a new fighter in the form of the protagonist from 2016's critical indie darling Hyper Light Drifter from developer Heart Machine.

According to Angry Mob Games, "The Drifter" was a perfect fit for Brawlout. Staying true to the character, he features his iconic light sword and his signature dash as a character specific move. Further, The Drifter is said to bring a more technical style of combat to the game, with tons of different movement options.

For those that don't know: Brawlout has been available for PC via Steam Early Access since April. It is also planned to hit PS4 and Xbox One (and now Switch) later this year during the holiday season.

Brawlout usually runs at 19.99 USD, but is currently available via a limited-time discount for $9.99 USD. For more information on the platform fighter, be sure to check out the game's Steam page.
