Breach Receiving Patch to Help Lag Issues

Have you been having lag issues with the recently released military shooter Breach? Atomic Games has got your back with the latest patch which seems to fix a whole heap of problems with the PC version (console versions patch is forthcoming.) With this patch that has significantly reduced crashes and lag, they’ve also included a couple updates for players using dedicated servers. One of the big updates is not requiring Steam to be running during the game, which is great for bad connection days. Hit the jump for a rundown of all the updates and fixes.

New features pertaining to dedicates servers:
– Dedicated Server no longer requires Steam to be running
– New feature allows configurable ports in Dedicated Server

Fixes included in the patch:
– All known crashes fixed
– Many fixes to reduce lag
– Network performance improved by more than 33%
– Bug that caused Sole Survivor games to end in draw fixed
– Bug that caused invisible canister in Retrieval games fixed
– Bug that caused Vendetta icon to appear incorrectly fixed
– Server Browser can now sort by number of players
– Server Browser can now be manipulated with mouse scroll wheel
– Fixed bugs related to Friendly Fire settings
– Better ability for laggy game to recover when bandwidth improves
– Dedicated Server stability significantly improved
