Break of Dawn is a lesser-known name in the world of anime and one of the most underestimated sci-fi manga series of all time. Written by Tetsuya Imai, its manga series ran for just two volumes, from January to October 2011. Break of Dawn never received an anime adaptation, but the new trailer released just recently confirms its movie's October release.

The first announcement regarding the Break of Dawn movie was made back in March. Now, we finally have an official trailer with an October release window. Well, it seems like the creators worked hard to deliver the anime movie at the earliest possible date. &ab_channel=AniTV">Youtube channel of AniTV on July 4th. With Studio Zero-G animating the upcoming movie, the animation in the trailer looks amazing. The main protagonist of the series, Yuma Sawatari, alongside his robot Nanako and a few other kids, often find themselves on new space adventures.

As confirmed in the official trailer, Break of Dawn will release in October 2022. Unfortunately, the exact release date is not out yet, but fans can likely expect an announcement relatively soon.

Some of the creators of the movie include the likes of director, Tomoyuki Kurokawa, who many will know for his work in Reservoir Chronicle: Tsubasa. Dai Sato is working as a screenwriter for the upcoming movie, known for Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars 2021, while Takahiko Yoshida is working as a character designer. Another member of the staff includes Masaru Yokoyama, working in the music department, famous for his work in Fruits Basket.

Cast members include Hana Sugisaki, who will voice the character of Yuma Sawatari, and Aoi Yuki, who will voice the robot Nanako.

What is Break of Dawn Anime Movie About?

The movie revolves around the main protagonist, Yuma Sawatari, a teenage boy who loves space and science stuff. At first, Yuma gets excited when his parents gift him a robot. But it comes as a disappointment to know that it can only do the basic household chores. Out of curiosity, when Yuma asks Nanako about space, a lost alien shop replaces its system with Nanako. Now they ask for the boy's help to return to their home.
