If you're a fan of the Portal franchise like I am, then you're probably eagerly waiting for another chapter in the series. While a full entry hasn't been announced, it's very clear that Portal isn't dead. Today, developer ClockStone Software and developer Headup Games announced Bridge Constructor Portal, and it sounds like a ton of fun.

This puzzle game takes the main concept of the Bridge Constructor series and combines it with the concept from the Portal titles. Essentially, players are tasked with getting a vehicle from one side of the screen to the other by constructing bridges, while at the same time, using portals to aid in the truck's journey across.

To celebrate the announcement of the title, a brand new trailer was also released, which, while not showing raw gameplay, does provide an example of how one level could go, complete with a narration by the nefarious GLaDOS. You can check out the trailer at the end of the article. Due to my love of the Portal series and puzzle games in general, I for one can't wait to get my hands on this.

Bridge Constructor Portal is set to hit Windows PC, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices on December 20, 2017, with a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions coming sometime in early 2018. You can check the announcement trailer, below:
