Tim Schafer, the head of acclaimed development studio Double Fine, is returning back to the world of point-and-click adventure games in a big way with his upcoming episodic adventure game, Broken Age – even more so with the recently-announced cast of voice talent he is bringing to the Kickstarter-funded game.

Released this week during PAX Prime 2013 in Seattle, Double Fine released a new development video that features the cast of Broken Age providing their voice talents to its characters, which includes a huge range of Double Fine vets from previous games such as Richard Horvitz (Psychonauts), Nick Jameson (Day of the Tentacle), Cree Summer (Brutal Legend), and Grey DeLisle (Brutal Legend), and also bringing back Jennifer Hale in a feature role, with Jack Black providing a cameo appearance.

The trailer with the official announcement from Double Fine is below to check out the impressive pedigree of talent Double Fine is bringing to their Kickstarter experiment.

Broken Age will be released on mobile (Android/iOS), Mac, PC, Linux, and on the Ouya early next year in January 2014.
