Someone Made A Karaoke Video For ‘It’s Bugsnax’

The trailer for Young Horses' upcoming PS5 5 game, Bugsnax has taken the internet by storm. Now, YouTuber Scotty Pants has created a karaoke version for everyone to sing along to.

The trailer for Young Horses’ upcoming PlayStation 5 game, Bugsnax has taken the internet by storm. British indie-pop group Kero Kero Bonito’s earworm played no small role in the trailer’s popularity. ‘It’s Bugsnax‘ features catchy lyrics and a chill melody, and people all over the gaming space just can’t get away from it. And now, YouTuber Scotty Pants has created a karaoke version so everyone can sing along.

Scotty Pants’ YouTube channel is entirely karaoke, but this is the first time that he’s done a gaming-related song. Considering the video was uploaded about a week ago and how quickly things spread on the internet, it’s surprising that this hasn’t taken off more than it has. This upload followed the official Kero Kero Bonito YouTube channel and Spotify account posting the full song after the band performed the song live on Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest live stream a few days ago on July 20. The group behind songs like ‘Flamingo’ and ‘Babies (Are So Strange),’ Kero Kero Bonito isn’t necessarily known for making music for games, but they certainly haven’t strayed away from referencing them in songs like ‘Sick Beat.’

In the coming days, the video is sure to bring in lots of Bugsnax fans. Considering Twitch recently opened up a streaming category for karaoke, it’s sure not to leave gamers’ ears anytime soon.

This isn’t the first time a song debuted with a trailer for a Young Horses game that ended up boosting the game’s popularity. In 2013, the developer debuted a trailer for their most successful game to date, Octodad, featuring a song by Ian McKinney. According to one of the leads at Young Horses in an interview with IGN, they were able to get a licensed song for the trailer because someone at the studio was friends with Ian McKinney at the time.
