As a Sims fan, I know all too well the long hours spent building the perfect character models and houses for fantasy creations, so you might guess as to why I’m a bit excited to see the latest video describing the new Build Mode in The Sims 4.
Unlike the previous games that forced you into stringing your walls around and repositioning your furniture if you decided to expand a room by hand, the fourth installment will have a smart self-adjustment feature that will do most of the minor tweaking for you. You’ll still be able to manually position things such as windows afterward, so don’t worry about being locked into a specific design either.
Taking a look at the video below, I’m most interested in the drag-and-drop room addition myself and already have plans to piece together new houses like LEGO bricks.
The game is now available for pre-order and is expected to be released sometime this fall.
