Build Your Own Custom Levels in Doom SnapMap Trailer
Bethesda shows us a better glimpse at just what the Doom SnapMap editor will look like in a new video featuring excerpts from their E3 2015 interview with Marty Stratton (Executive Producer), Hugo Martin (Art Director), and Robert Duffy (Chief Technology Officer).
The developers promise the mode will be easy to use and that, “you can go to a level of detail that allows you to create completely custom game modes.” Doom was, and still is, highly modded, with some current developers having attained their position through mod work. While the new Doom won’t feature that same support, ID Software is hoping to reach a new generation of creative players with the SnapMap mode. You can see it in action below.
