It's difficult to calculate the number of hours people have spent on games like Sim City, Theme Hospital or any of the Tycoon series carefully plotting out strategies to maximize profits and keeping the economy flowing so that their patrons will thrive. Upcoming title Buildings Have Feelings Too! intends to do all of this while also breathing life into the city itself.

Buildings Have Feelings Too! is a city management game that brings character and personality to the buildings by allowing them to walk, talk, and interact with one another. Created by Northern Irish studio Blackstaff Games, the game's aesthetic takes the red-brick setting of Belfast City as an inspiration and adds thick black arms and legs to the buildings creating a cute and cartoony feeling over a backdrop similar to the artwork of L.S. Lowry.

Making the city grow and evolve will call for players to add in new buildings and neighborhoods while managing transport systems, electricity lines, and noise pollution levels. On top of this players must also look after the buildings themselves as they jog along the city streets to take their positions.

The whimsical Buildings Have Feelings Too! is set for release on PlayStation 4 in the Spring of next year.
