We're now into our second month of Pokemon GO's Season of Legends and with it, our second event of April.

The Spring into Spring event is now live and offers players the opportunity to catch a range of Pokemon including the new shiny Bunnelby and Flower Crown Chansey.

Continuing the Spring theme, April's first Spotlight Hour isn't far away, and the featured Pokemon this time out is Buneary (and therefore also Lopunny).

As with all spotlight hours, let's take a look if both Buneary and Lopunny can be shiny in Pokemon GO.

What do shiny Buneary and shiny Lopunny look like?

Both Buneary and Lopunny's non-shiny variants are fairly standard. They're a pair of rabbits with some (extremely) white fluffy sections on their ears, hands and midriffs.

Their shiny variants on the other hand has one substantial difference. What was some cute white fluff is now bright pink, making the pair look like they're covered in cotton candy.

Is shiny Buneary and shiny Lopunny available during the Spotlight Hour?

  • RAID GUIDE – Mega Lopunny Weaknesses and Best Counters

For the first time in a couple of weeks, players are in luck.

Following a slightly disappointing pair of non-shiny Spotlight Hours which featured both Surskit and Slugma, the Buneary hour is breaking the mould.

Players have the opportunity to get their hands on a fluffy pink bunny between 6 pm - 7 pm in their local timezones.

This is also great thanks to the fact that Mega Lopunny has recently hit raids within the game, meaning players will be able to take advantage of its shiny Mega form.

Unfortunately, unlike Community Days, Spotlight Hours don't have increased shiny odds, so it's just a case of clicking as many as possible to try and nab one.

What are the remaining april Spotlight Hours?
