Back in March, V7 Entertainment released Old Time Hockey on PC and PS4. As the name suggests, it channels the spirit of older classic hockey games like NHL ’94. Since the game’s release and lukewarm reception, the developers have been working on the Xbox One version of the game. Today, the developers announced that the game will be landing on Xbox One on November 29, though the game has been rebranded and will now be known as Bush Hockey League.
This name change was actually revealed on the game’s Facebook page back in October, though no real reason was given for the rebranding. The Xbox One version of Bush Hockey League will cost $11.99 at launch, which is the same as what other versions of the Bush Hockey League currently cost.
According to the developers, the Xbox One version of Bush Hockey League is also set to include all of the changes made to the game based on player feedback since launch, making the Xbox One port the best version to pick up. For those unaware of what the game includes, there are over 10 original teams, a Story mode where players take a team from rags to riches, online and local co-op, and a one-handed “beer mode” so players can drink and play the game at the same time.
