But, what exactly is Battle Royale Buy Back? And when will players be able to jump back into the standard Battle Royale mode that we're all used to?

What Is Buy Back In Warzone? Game Mode Explained

Buy Back in Warzone is incredibly similar to the standard Battle Royale mode, but with an added twist.

Warzone was the first Battle Royale game to include a 'Gulag', which allows players to get a second chance at redeployment if they can win a 1v1 match. However, Buy Back completely eliminates the Gulag and allows players to redeploy if they or their teammate have enough cash in their inventory when they die.

Although that's the only change in the mode, it completely changes the way that Warzone is played. The mode incentivizes collecting cash and doing contracts as they now serve a bit more of a purpose.

Completing contracts rewards players with cash, which is vital in the Buy Back mode. This means that the game is generally filled with fewer campers, making for a much more intense game.

Plus, the Gulag isn't to everyone's liking, so being able to redeploy without having to 1v1 someone will appeal to a lot of players.
