If you still play 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III then it looks like you won’t have to wait until later this year to play new content from Treyarch. The developer has released a brand new update for the game, and in a surprising twist, it adds a new mode as well as a new map.

The new game mode included with the update is Infected, a popular mode from previous games. For those that don’t know, Infected starts with all players being “survivors.” After a few seconds, one player will turn infected, and will be tasked with infecting (killing) survivors until all of the players are infected or until the time runs out.

The other new feature added with the update is a winter-themed version of the map Redwood, which is appropriately titled Redwood SnowThere doesn’t seem to be any difference between the two versions of the map in terms of layout, so the map will theoretically play exactly the same as the original map. You can check out a gallery of screenshots from the new map at the end of the article.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III was originally released on November 6, 2015, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
