Today Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 or Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII as the logo stylizes it. And yeah, that's not how you write "4" in Roman numerals, but who am I to judge.

The game will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course, it's in development at traditional Black Ops studio Treyarch.

The game will launch on October 12th and a full release is scheduled for May 17th.  The announcement also promises that the game will "revolutionize" the Black Ops series and "represents a game-changing experience."

It's worth mentioning that some rumors have been floating around mentioning a Switch version, but no mention is made of Nintendo's console in the official press release.
