If you've been keeping your ear to the ground lately, you may have noticed there is a lot of buzz surrounding Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. As part of a viral marketing tactic, or maybe just as an accident, the game's logo was spotted yesterday at an NBA game.

James "The Beard" Harden was sporting a hat, which fans quickly pegged as the game's new logo at last night's Houston Rockets at Oklahoma City Thunder game. You can see the sneaky snapback show below.

The video was broadcast on ESPN's NBA Twitter account for Call of Duty fans everywhere to see and features the future 2018 MVP walking out in full camo with the hat on. That's certainly not subtle advertising on Activision's part.

The logo does not feature a proper use of Roman numerals (as this would be IV) but rather an additional line added to the logo from Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Sources close to Kotaku confirmed that the hat does feature the official logo for Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII.

Let's just hope that Black Ops 5 will see that diagonal tally and not another vertical line.
