Activision has revealed some details on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 post-launch content. All content will come first to PlayStation 4 users as usual.

Treyarch has a calendar of events and free content planned for each of Black Ops 4's modes: Multiplayer, zombies, and Blackout. These include new maps such as Nuketown (that is getting remade), new specialist characters for the multiplayer, and of course new content for Call of Duty's take on the battle royale trend: Blackout.

Seasonal, weekly, and time-limited events are also planned, which you can expect to resemble what Sledgehammer Games has done with WWII's various special events such as the recent Sandbox map that reduced the soldiers into the familiar green army men of our childhoods.

  • Nuketown: This fan-favorite map returns in November in an all-new take.
  • Specialists: The first of several new characters will debut in December.
  • Blackout: Launch day is only the start; Blackout will continue to evolve after launch with regular map updates, expansions and new Blackout modes.
  • Events: Seasonal, weekly, and time-limited events bringing new game modes and content to players.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release on October 12, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and you can pre-order your copy on Amazon by using our handy link.
