Call of Duty: Black Ops III Double Duty Calling Card Announced; Supports Veterans
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be receiving a new calling card, in which all proceeds generated by it will go to the Call of Duty Endowment.
Today publisher Activision and developer Treyarch announced that their game Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be getting a brand new in-game calling card.
The animated calling card, titled the C.O.D.E. Double Duty Calling Card, is designed by Treyarch, and features a soldier fighting on a battlefield, before quickly transitioning to that same man working an everyday job. You can check out a preview of it at the end of the article.
Players who purchase the calling card will also receive three rare supply drops, which can be used to unlock everything from other calling cards to exclusive weapons.
The calling card is set to cost players $3.99, however all gross proceeds generated will be donated to the Call of Duty Endowment fund, which helps real life veterans find jobs.
It’s only available for a limited time however, as it will no longer be purchasable after February 7th, 2018.
In other Call of Duty: Black Ops III news, back in May, Activision released a DLC titled Zombies Chronicles, which brought eight classic zombies maps back from previous games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III was originally released on November 6th, 2015, and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, however the calling card is only available on the former three systems.
