Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Receives New Snipers Only ‘One Shot’ Game Mode and Double XP Weekend

Sledgehammer Games has added a new game mode to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare today focused entirely on sniping called ‘One Shot.’ To celebrate the new game mode, the studio has turned on Double XP for this weekend, ending on Monday December 29th, at 9:00am PST.

One Shot is seperates itself from the rest of the game by starting players with decreased health and forcing them to use one of five custom designed classes. Each of the five classes were designed specifically for the new game mode by Sledgehammer’s development team with the help of professional Call of Duty player OpTic NaDeSHoT to put player’s sniping skills to the test.

The five classes are called Hard Scope, Zoomed, 4X, Ace and Irons, each utilizing different perks, scorestreaks and wildcards. All of the classes utilize the Mors bolt-action railgun sniper rifle and no sidearms, meaning you’ll have to make every single shot count if you want to come out on top. It sounds great tactical inclusion to the game and should certainly draw in a few fans like myself for a few rounds of fun with friends.

You can checkout all five of the unique One Shot classes below to find your preferred load out. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
