Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Gets Another Potentially Controversial Live Action Trailer

on October 29, 2012 3:28 PM

Remember the Call of Duty live action trailers that stirred controversy over the ridiculous portrayal of the military and the “There’s a soldier in all of us” message?

Welcome to 2012. Activision is at it again, with a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 titled “Surprise”. The comic relief is still there, with people (Including a bunch of celebrities led by Robert Downey Jr) whistling and sharing highfives, and the “There’s a soldier in all of us” message didn’t go away.

I’m quite sure a lot of faces will violently meet the corresponding palms, just as I’m sure that a large percentage of the owners of said faces and palms will still hurry to preorder the game (if they didn’t already). People can’t even be outraged properly, nowadays.

You can check out the video below, at your own risk. Don’t blame me if you leave a few thousands of dead braincells on the battlefield in the process.
