Recently, some Call of Duty Warzone players have reported that a very brief teaser interrupts their game why playing, which is probably related to the announcement of the rumored Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.While the next entry of the Call of Duty series should've been revealed by now, it seems the development process of the game needs more time than the previous iterations to be launched in time, which has probably led to a delay in the announcement of the game. That being said, Treyarch and Raven Software, the developers behind the next Call of Duty game have recently revealed that the first trailer of the game will be out soon.Earlier this week, some of the Call of Duty YouTubers and streamers started to get mysterious crates from Activision with a message warning them not to open the crates until August 10th. So, it's now easy to guess that a new announcement is about to happen on Monday, but there is still more evidence to share.

Recently, some of the Call of Duty Warzone players have their game interrupted by a brief teaser for a few seconds. While it's not easy to read the message of the teaser during the game, a frame-by-frame capture of the teaser reveals that the message is "Know Your History."

Of course, we can't decrypt the message for now, but referring to history probably means the next Call of Duty title is going to send us back in time. The message seems understandable when we remember the rumors around Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, which is said to be a soft reboot of the Black Ops series.

Activision has already confirmed that the next Call of Duty game will be available this year, but it's yet to be seen which platforms it will be hitting at launch.
