It's going to be a month since the launch of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War soon, and Treyarch will deploy the first season of content update of the game next week, with its gameplay trailer airing at The Game Awards 2020. For now, you can raise your hype by taking a look at Season One's cinematic trailer:

The seasonal content update for Call of Duty games worked quite well since last year's Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and it seems the same policy will be followed by Treyarch as well, for bringing new content to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone.

The new season will bring Stitch as the new operator to both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. As a former KGB agent, Stitch has a painful history with Adler, who tortured him during an interrogation in the 1960s. Now, Stitch is seeking revenge, and with this background, we are going to welcome a new playable character and probably a new map set in New Jersey. Moreover, a new island will probably be added to Call of Duty Warzone's map called Rebirth Island.

If you already own Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, you have probably received a new update yesterday, bringing some quality of life improvements to the game and adding the initial requirements of the upcoming season to the game. This update weighs around 15 GB on PC and last-gen consoles.

You will be able to pre-load the Season One update on December 15th, one day prior to its official launch, but the volume of the update is yet to be revealed on last-gen and current-gen platforms.
