Infinity Ward just made multiple cosmetics changes in Call of Duty and its Warzone Battle Royale. A few days ago, the "OK" hand gesture was removed from the game, due to the misplaced belief it is a huge white supremacy symbol. In a more level-headed fashion though, the controversial "Border War" skin has been renamed. The skin, which had an original description of "show them the error of their ways and make them pay with D-Day's Border War operator skin", was called out on Twitter for having anti-immigration connotations, as well as glorifying the police during a time of unrest in which the Black Lives Matter protests are ongoing. The name of the skin has now been changed to "Home on the Range" and the previous description has been replaced with "Play along with the deer and the antelope with the Home on the Range D-Day operator skin.". These are the only changes. The skin retains its police logo on the front and the Texas State flag on the sleeve.

The patch that updated the skin also included some smaller bug fixes as announced by Infinity Ward on Twitter.

Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward have been committed to the fight against racism, despite these issues, as for the last couple of months the game has included a message of support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Call Of Duty: Warzone is still going strong with the game now weighing in at over 200GB and the Warzone Battle Royale having a 200 player mode incorporated.
