In what can only be described as the next logical step for Call of Duty's ever-expanding reach into the food realm, today Activision and Burger King began teasing a Modern Warfare-themed crossover and I have genuinely no idea what to expect. The teaser was released on Burger King's official Twitter account, with a video showing what appears to be the layout of a typical Burger King restaurant in the same style as a Call of Duty multiplayer map overview. It's a bit hard to describe on paper, but if you look at the video below you'll know exactly what I mean.Interestingly, there's some text on the top of the screen that says "Burger Town Takeover." For those that don't know, Burger Town is a fictional restaurant in the previous Modern Warfare games, which is meant to be a parody of Burger King. Could this mean Activision is turning certain Burger King restaurants into "Burger Towns" as a part of a PR stunt? Or is it just going to be specific Modern Warfare-themed items? Maybe we'll get some double XP for buying Burger King items? Your guess is as good as mine.Interestingly enough, if you type the coordinates seen in the video into Google Maps, it will take you to a GameStop located in Los Angeles, so it's definitely possible that that store has something to do with it.We won't have to wait long to find out though, as the fast-food chain has promised a reveal of the crossover tomorrow. No matter what, it's going to be very fun to watch.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25, 2019, and will be available on all major platforms.
