It's finally here folks! After months and months of waiting and behind-closed-doors demos, fans were finally able to get a first look at gameplay for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, in the form of a brand new multiplayer mode Gunfight.

In the mode, two players are pitted against two other players in an extremely fast-paced match. Players are given new loadouts each round and only have one life per round in order to make each round tenser. In addition, like the similar Face Off mode of the past, this mode will have maps exclusive to this mode, order to make each round shorter and force gunfights.

Gunfight was officially revealed on Twitch just a few minutes ago on CouRageJD, TeePee, Syndicate, and LEGIQN's channels. Currently, those aforementioned streamers are at Infinity Ward playing the mode live, so if you want to check it out for yourself, you can log on to any of their channels and watch the reveal.

Of course, Gunfight is only one part of Modern Warfare's multiplayer, so if you're hoping for some more traditional multiplayer, rest assured you won't be left out.

Infinity Ward has been unusually tight-lipped about Modern Warfare's gameplay in general, let alone its multiplayer mode. While certain press got to see a section of the game's campaign at E3 (including DualShockers), and an even more exclusive group of people got to see the multiplayer at E3, this is the first time that the public has seen the game since it reveals back in May.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
