Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone players can now download Season Six content and start playing both games with some brand new maps, modes, and operators. However, if you need to know what's going on in Season Six before downloading the new update, you're going to find out soon.

Similar to all the previous seasons, Season Six also offers a new playable operator from the story-driven campaign of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. This time around, you will get to have the chance for playing as Pharah or Nikolai in Warzone or the multiplayer section of Modern Warfare.

As of now, players have access to four new maps in Call of Duty Modern Warfare: two multiplayer maps, one Gunfight map, and one Ground War map. Warzone players are also be able to use train stations in Verdansk as the fastest way of traveling between desitricts.

SP-R 208 (rifle) and AS Val (assualt rifle) are the new weapons available in the game now. A Butterfly knife will also be available later in Season Six.

When it comes to new modes, Warzone gets a limited-time Armored Royale mode with Modern Warfare receiving Killstreak Confirmed as its first new mode in Season Six. Later in the season, five new modes will be added to the playlist in Modern Warfare: Hard Point Hills & Kills in week 2, Gun Game TDM and HQ Firefight in week 3, and Gunfight Tournament and TDM Snipers Only in week 4.

Last but not least, Haunting of Verdansk, a new limited-time event for Holloween, will be available in Call of Duty Warzone from October 20 until November 3rd. The details of the mode are yet to be revealed.

Season Six might be the last season of content for Call of Duty Modern Warfare as Activision will launch Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War in November this year.
