Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, Meet Nintendo DS
You’ve read the title. And you’re probably pondering what the hell is up with that long title of a game, I’m sure. Instead of shortening it to something less space consuming like “Call of Duty: Warfare Mobilized”, Activision thought it would be cool to reveal today the release of the Nintendo DS shooter, titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, scheduled for a November 10th release. Finally, we can shoot the shit (pun intended) on the Nintendo DS!
If you need to ask what’s the game going to be like, you need to be sodomized with a loaf of stale Italian bread. I’ll only cater to those of you who’s brain defy all common sense and logic; Obviously, from the title, we can expect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized to deliver the epic trademarks of cutting-edge weaponry, intense battles, building-to-building tactical combat, and the hacking into of enemy computers (they have to add some modern elements). For those of you who enjoy packing big guns because of your own insecurities, you’ll be glad to know that the AC-130 gunship is making its return for Nintendo’s handheld.
Other things that you can expect from Activision’s I’ve-gotta-milk-the-name-for-everything-its-worth title is a unique storyline and a companion narrative. My favorite feature, however, is the six-player online multiplayer mode that will allow you, and five other poor bastards, to host your own servers and shoot eachother in the face. A Survival Mode – which gives players a variety of weapons to hold off waves of incoming enemies – will also be featured in the DS title with the ability to whoop ’em with your friends in the online multiplayer mode. Arcade Mode will allow players to replay the game’s single-player campaign with a time limit and running score, also giving players extra points for certain achievements. This will keep the lot of you busy for quite some time.
You can expect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized (god, that title is long) this fall alongside the highly anticipated Modern Warfare 2 – the sequel to Infinity Ward’s obsessive shooter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Now where the hell did I place my DS…
