The team at Infinity Ward took to Geoff Keighley's E3 Coliseum stage to talk about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. While there, the team dropped a few nuggets about all aspects of the game, but some of the biggest news came out of the multiplayer discussion. The team announced that co-op Spec-Ops is coming back and showed off the first images from multiplayer.

The images were captured in-game and help show the power of Infinity Ward's new game engine. The first image shows the return of the Juggernaut armored suit from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. And the second has a ghillie-suited sniper overlooking the battlefield. Give them a look in this post.

The return of co-op Spec-Ops mode was also confirmed at the event. The Infinity Ward devs were unable to share much in the way of details but promised that we'd get more info soon. The team wants the mode to be absolutely perfect and will share it with the public once it attains their incredibly high standards. Spec-Ops is basically the only Call of Duty mode I've ever sunk considerable time into, so I'm glad to see it making a comeback.

The developers also took a deep dive into the story for Modern Warfare. Like the original game, you'll be playing the game from multiple points of view. You'll play as both a SAS officer and a member of the CIA. It sounds like an epic campaign experience.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 25. Keep your eyes on DualShockers for all the news coming out of DualShockers. Check out the full talk below.
