Today during a livestream on PlayStation's Twitch channel, developer Sledgehammer Games revealed details about some new content that will be coming to second weekend of the Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer beta, which will be starting on September 1st, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT)

First off, a brand new map called Aachen will be joining the beta, which is described as a medium sized map with a center alley, that was home to one of the bloodiest battles during World War II. You can check out a preview of the map at the end of the article.

The level cap in the game will also be increased from 25 to 40, which will allow players to unlock new weapons, gear, scorestreaks, and outfits. While the exact list was not revealed, it was confirmed that the M1A1 rifle, the M1903 sniper rifle, and the Flamethrower scorestreak, which was previously seen in the first weekend's War mode, will now be unlockable.

Finally, if you've been craving for a new mode to play then you'll be happy to know that one is coming, however we'll have to wait until the beta starts to see what it is.

Call of Duty: WWII is set to be officially released on November 3rd, 2017, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Players who pre-order the game digitally will recieve access to the private beta, the Division's Pack, and 500 COD points for use in both Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Physical pre-orders will only grant you the first two bonuses.
