Call of Duty: WWII's Days of Summer continues throughout August, and this week's festivities add more mischief into the mix. Following the events after last week's Sandbox map where you played as toy soldiers, the event's current offering is equally silly.

The game's online "Summer Community Challenge" will give players a chance to unlock various new items depending on the number of kills they can rack up. Starting off with calling cards and weapon charms at the lower end of the scale, more talented players will gain access to weapon camouflage and a helmet shaped like a 1940s straw hat. The best of the best will receive a new skin for their cruiser II double-barrel shotgun.

However, the summer shenanigans don't stop there because the popular "Leprechaun Hunt" from the Saint Patrick's Day event Shamrock and Awe is back for another round in Call of Duty: WWII. The wee green-eyed Irish lad will sprint across the battlefield as players chase him down to try and take him out.

Call of Duty: WWII is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Days of Summer event will be adding more fun into the game periodically until August 28. For a closer look at what's in store for the event, you can check out the new trailer below:
