Call of Juarez Screens Show Off Co-operative Competition

Some new screenshots have surfaced for the upcoming Call of Juarez: The Cartel which show off what Ubisoft is calling “coopetition”; a co-operative / competitive mode. The aptly named mode will pit players against each other in a variety of ways as everyone is trying to further the team’s goals, but more importantly their own.

  • Secret Agendas – Additional objectives characters receive from their contacts, handlers or informants which need to be done in secrecy.
  • Items – Each character needs to be on the lookout for items of particular interest to them or their contacts. The key is, of course, to avoid getting caught.
  • Challenges – Measureable challenge segments where players race to reach a randomly selected goal. I.e. Be the first to score four headshots.

Check out the screenshots after the break, and keep an eye out for more information on Call of Juarez: The Cartel as we approach it’s July 19th release date for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
