It’s said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This seems to be the underlying message of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare according to this latest trailer.
In this trailer we see that five nuclear reactors across the world were hit simultaneously. The world’s governments and militaries are in disarray so a private military company called Atlas is hired to fight against the enemy and to restore order. Atlas is given immense power by the world governments but this could prove to be dangerous given how its leader, Johnathan Irons (Kevin Spacey), begins to believe that since Atlas wields so much power that they are in the right.
At the end of the trailer we see a small tease of the reveal of the ever popular Multiplayer mode. In one scene, a soldier who is being stalked quickly jumps into the air with his hoverpack, flies backward and shoots his foe in the back. In another scene we see a player shoot another while he is in mid-air while in the background a huge tidal wave is about to hit. We’ll get a reveal of this mode on August 11th.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 4.
