Pokemon Go's events for the month of June are live, and fans have quite an action-packed month ahead of them. The month will feature events like the A Very Slow Discovery event, as well as the Solstice Event.

The various tasks and events players not only keep the players engaged but also give them a chance to earn a plethora of rewards. Apart from that, there will be some new Pokemon marking their debut in the game as well. Can Abra be Shiny in Pokemon Go? – June Spotlight Hour 2021

Amidst the plethora of other events kicking off in the second week of June, we will be having the Spotlight Hour on Tuesday. The weekly event increases the spawn rate of some specific Pokemon in the game and significantly increases the chances of players catching them. More importantly, it also allows them to add the shiny variants of various Pokemon to their collection.

In the second week of June, we are heading back to Generation 1 and have Abra as the featured Pokemon for the Spotlight Hour. Abra is a Psychic-type Pokemon and is weak to Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type Pokemon.

Coming to the part whether it is Shiny or not, the good news is that players will be able to catch Shiny Abra during this Spotlight Hour. It's quite easy to distinguish between normal and Shiny Abra, as the shiny variant is a bit darker in color as compared to the normal one.
