Can Alolan Rattata be Shiny in Pokemon Go? – May Spotlight Hour 2021
This week, Alolan Rattata will be featured in the Spotlight Hour. The Spotlight Hour will begin at 6 pm on 18th May and conclude at 7 pm on the same day. Do note that these timings are according to your local time. During this hour, you will be witnessing an increased spawn rate for Alolan Rattata in the game.
As the Spotlight Hour draws closers, many are wondering whether Alolan Rattata will be shiny or not during the event. The good news is, there is indeed a shiny variant of Alolan Rattata present in Pokemon Go.
So how do you spot a Shiny Alolan Rattata? Well, like other shiny variants, this Pokemon also has a unique appearance. Instead of the regular dark grey color, the shiny variant comes in a red color. This will be quite easy to spot since it has quite a striking color scheme.
As far as the spawn rates of Shiny is concerned, there are no changes to that. The odds of getting a Shiny Alolan Rattata is 3 / 785, which is a tad lesser than some other shiny variants. That being said, you might still have to search a lot to add it to your collection.
