April is here and along with it warmer weather, fresh blooms and an inevitable Pokemon GO event.

Following a spate of different occasions players could get involved in, including Weather Week and Festival of Colors, Niantic has released the Spring into Spring event.

This event will include a range of different Pokemon, including, for the first time ever, Flower Crown Happiny, Chansey and Blissey but can they be shiny? Let's take a look.

When is the Spring into Spring event?

The Spring into Spring event kicks off all around the world on Sunday, April 4, at 10 am local time and will finish a few days later on Thursday, April 8, again, at 10 am local time.

As usual, Niantic has confirmed there will be a whole host of Pokemon who will be appearing throughout the event.

In the wild it's been shared that Buneary, Bunnelby, Exeggcute, Marill, Minun, Pikachu wearing a flower crown, Plusle and others will be appearing more frequently. For the first time ever, players will also have the chance to encounter a shiny Bunnelby.

As mentioned, alongside these, Niantic has confirmed Flower Crown Happiny, Chansey and Blissey will all be available (either in the wild, in eggs or via evolution).

Can the new Flower Crown Happiny, Chansey and Blissey Be Shiny?

It almost certainly looks like it.

While Niantic doesn't explicitly mention the fact that Flower Crown Happiny, Chansey and Blissey can be shiny? They do say "you might encounter a Shiny Chansey or a Shiny Happiny!"

Considering they're all likely to be wearing flower crowns, this is as good as confirmation as we'll get until somebody encounters one.
