In the first Across the Spider-Verse trailer, we see Spider-Man 2099, Miguel O'Hara. The original Into the Spider-Verse movie introduced us to Miguel, played by Oscar Isaac, in the post-credit scene. So, it was good to see Spider-Man 2099 in the trailer, confirming that he'll play a significant role in the upcoming movie. However, what's interesting is that the trailer also hinted at another Spider-Man variant, Pavitr Prabhakar.

Possibility of Pavitr Prabhakar Appearing in Across the Spider-Verse

Across the Spider-Verse trailer shows Miles arriving in a universe that looks a lot like India. On top of that, we hear Indian music along with the use of Hindi words. Interestingly, Miguel's device confirms that the universe with the Indian architecture is Earth-50101 (Via: Screen Rant). Interestingly, in Marvel comics, Earth-50101 is the reality where Pavitr Prabhakar, an Indian boy from Mumbai, becomes Spider-Man.

Pavitr gets his spider powers from a Yogi who thinks that the boy has the will to fight the evil in the world. Like Peter Parker, Pavitr takes his new powers lightly at first. However, after his uncle gets killed while saving a woman, Pavitr understands the responsibility that comes with this power.

Of course, in the trailer, Spider-Man 2099 grabs Miles and takes to him to Earth-928. However, after Sony teased the Indian theme in the trailer, there's a chance that we'll see more of Earth-50101 in the movie. Miles might spend some more time web-swinging on Indian architecture. And if that's the case, we might actually see Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, getting a few scenes with Miles.
