Can Xerneas Be Shiny In Pokemon GO?

The Luminous Legends X event is all set to start from 4th May onward. During this event, Xerneas, the Life Pokémon, will be making its debut in the game. Alongside that,  Spritzee, Swirlix, and Goomy will also be being a part of the event as well.

As players set on five-star raids to catch Xerneas, many are wondering whether the Pokemon can be shiny or not. Well for Xerneas fans, there is some bad news as the game doesn’t have the Shiny version of Xerneas as of now.

Whenever a new Pokemon is launched, players are usually only be able to catch the normal variant of the Pokemon. The Shiny variant is usually added at a later date, sometimes as late as a year. So if you are looking to add a Shiny Xerneas to your collection, don’t be completely disheartened as you might get a chance to catch it later down the line. For now, players can only catch the normal variant of Xerneas in the game.
